Blogs to go: part 2

Did you catch Part 1 of Blogs to go? You might want to check out the first line-up of picks.

Herewith, three more of my blog favorites.

Corante Innovation Hub

This is a kind of meta-blog that networks 15 bloggers on the topic of ‘innovation’. Innovation is defined fairly broadly here; posts encompass everything from creative thinking tips to reflections on national or international innovation policy.

The Cool Hunter

OK, so this site may not technically constitute a ‘blog’ but the content is regularly refreshed and its ‘news’ section is structured just like a blog so I’m calling it a blog. This is the place to go to see what’s hot tomorrow – what’s happening in design, fashion, travel, books, gadgets, etc that you’ll be seeing in your department store or on the street in a year or two. If you want the skinny on anti-depressant perfumes or Segways for cops, this site is always worth a gander.

Tech Policy Summit Blog

The Tech Policy Summit is “ …an invitation-only executive conference that brings together prominent leaders from the private and public sectors to examine critical policy issues affecting technology innovation and adoption in Silicon Valley and beyond.â€? The blog supports the summit by offering interviews with conference speakers, links to relevant reports and lots of tidbits outside the policy wonk realm.

I’ve just discovered a very cool collection of blogs: Nature Network Boston.

This is a community/networking site for researchers. Each researcher is given a blog and these researchers write about really interesting stuff.

I wonder why we don’t have this for Toronto or all of Ontario…

Anyway, the community blogs at Nature Network Boston is well worth checking out.
