Open source education
January 22, 2007
I just discovered an excellent education-related podcast aggregator. Open Culture explores cultural and educational media (podcasts, videos, online courses, etc.), edited and updated regularly to ensure quality.
Content includes university lectures, public speeches, arts and culture, audio books, foreign language lessons, news, technologyhow-tos and reviews.
Dan Colman, the lead editor, is the Associate Dean & Director of Stanford’s Continuing Studies Program. Stanford itself has an excellent selection of digital audio content available on iTunes (check out the MaRS Picks for that review).
Open Culture is a great way to learn from some of the leading minds on a variety of topics.
