âThe blockbuster VC deal of the week comes from Internet media company Geosign Technologies Inc. which announced the closing of $160 MM in private financing from American Capital Strategies Ltd. With over 180 consumer websites, Ontario-based Geosign has secured the largest publicly-announced VC investment ever made into a Canadian company. Proceeds from the financing will be used for working capital and to support the Companyâs strategic growth.â?
