The July/August issue of the online Ivey Business Journal includes an article on the importance of ‘purpose’ in the innovation process. The author argues that an “innovator’s purpose drives innovators to see beyond current convention, counters the natural risk aversion that large companies have to innovation, and mobilizes employees to accomplish their goal.” Move over innovator’s dilemma…
