Attention Canadian Social Entrepreneurs! Call for Nominations

Canada is ready to join eighteen countries from around the world in presenting the prestigious Schwab Foundation “Social Entrepreneur of the Year” award and we want to hear from YOU!

The Schwab Foundation is actively seeking to recognize and award leading Canadian social entrepreneurs who are making a difference in their communities. Selected finalists will be invited to attend the Canadian Social Entrepreneurship Summit, organized by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in partnership with MaRS as well as the Centre for Social Innovation and the Toronto City Summit Alliance.

Finalists will be profiled in a special supplement in the Globe and Mail and be invited to participate in the Summit on December 4 in Toronto, where the winner will be named at the Summit’s closing dinner. The winner will also be invited to join other award winners at the Global Summit for Social Entrepreneurship in Rüschlikon, Switzerland to showcase their success in addressing some of the world’s biggest social, environmental and economic problems.
