Attention entrepreneurs: TiEQuest 2010 now accepting applications
TiE Toronto is on a quest for great business ideas—and it’s got over $150,000 to award to the entrepreneurs who have those ideas.
TiEQuest 2010, TiE Toronto’s annual business venture competition, is now open and accepting applications.
TiEQuest is a unique contest—it connects entrepreneurs and business enthusiasts with the private equity and venture capital industry. Aspiring (and established) entrepreneurs who participate in TiEQuest benefit from networking opportunities, recognition from investment, legal and accounting firms and the opportunity to practice pitching their venture to investors. Most importantly, contestants have the opportunity to turn their innovative ideas into real businesses with help from industry experts, successful entrepreneurs and professional advisors.
Since the first TiEQuest competition in 2005, over 25 TiEQuest contestants, including MaRS clients Aeryon Labs Inc., Cognovision Solutions Inc. and Skymeter Corp., have been able to transform their business ideas into successful enterprises. Will you be next?
