Looking for the year in review of science?
The Royal Society is the UK’s oldest and most prestigious scientific body. As part of its 350th anniversary celebrations, the Society has released a collection of 12 online articles that look at key areas of scientific inquiry in the future.
Written by leading experts in their field and peer-reviewed, each article provides a layperson’s guide to such issues as cognition and computation, greenhouse gases, Web science and stem cell biology. If you want to get a sense of the shape of science to come, Science sees further is a juicy and (relatively) short read.
