Consumers love the idea of being green. In response, manufacturers and retailers look to market products that bring conscience, convenience and debit card together. But what, exactly, does ‘eco-friendly’ mean?
Are consumers being tricked, or ‘greenwashed’ by disingenuous sellers? Just how authentic is the eco-friendly appellation?
