Pioneer by name, pioneer by nature. Murray Hogarth is a leader in the petroleum industry. The founder and former CEO of Pioneer Petroleums grew his business from one retail gasoline station in Hamilton in 1956 to a chain of about 150 stations in Ontario.

Geoff Cape is one of Canada’s best known social entrepreneurs. He’s the founder of Evergreen, a charitable organization that encourages Canadians to take a hands-on approach to improving the health of their cities. Evergreen focuses on integrating nature into urban design through sustainable greening projects in schoolyards, parks, communities and at Evergreen Brick Works, a unique environmental community centre in Toronto. Since its inception in 1990, Evergreen has grown to over 115 employees and several locations across Canada.

Mike is the co-founder and CEO of FreshBooks, planet earth’s leading online invoicing and bookkeeping app for service oriented professionals, freelancers and teams. Mike built FreshBooks in 2003 for his design firm in order to scratch his own itch. Since launching in May 2004, FreshBooks has touched over 2,000,000 lives and Mike and his team dedicate themselves to being a great service for people who love their work, and want to focus on it instead of focusing on their paperwork.
