Eight SaaSy start-ups leading the move to consumerization

 

A few months ago, the MaRS Market Intelligence team began a journey to better understand how workplace IT is changing. Over the last decade we’ve seen both locked-down hardware and standardized software fizzle, making way for an era where freemium web applications are available for instant use.

But what is driving this global trend? And what companies are taking advantage of it?
