Best Practices - Why commercializing a technology is really, really hard to do

SUCCESS AND FAILURE IN NEW VENTURE CREATION

There is often a significant disconnect between those who conceptualize and generate technology and those that later commercialize the technology. This disconnect is in large part due to a mismatch in culture and resources as technology transitions from research into product development and later manufacturing. Jesko will review the critical elements that can position an early stage venture for success – and highlight those elements which are likely to lead to failure.

Jesko's talk will be followed by an informal discussion and exchange of ideas.
