ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Michele McBaneSenior Associate, VenGrowth
Michelle McBane joined VenGrowth in 2003. She has over 18 years of combined operational and venture capital experience. Michelle’s background includes managerial and product development experience as well as sales and marketing roles in both engineering and scientific industries.
Prior to VenGrowth, Michelle was an analyst with Toronto-based Primaxis Technology Ventures, where she was an active member of an investee company’s management team that brought over $4 million in venture capital financing. Additionally, Michelle spent 12 years in progressively senior roles with DuPont Canada.
Michelle holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) degree from McMaster University and Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa.
