BioEntrepreneurship: Life Science IP

CLASS SUMMARY

This seminar will provide a broad overview of the specific challenges for life science companies in procuring intellectual property protection. The seminar will discuss how to use an IP-centric approach to ensure that the fruits of research and development can be protected and exploited. The session will also focus on the timing of when to file a patent application and how the need to file quickly  must be balanced with the requirement of providing an enabling disclosure in the patent application.
