Math’s power is everywhere. It unlocks mysteries, underscores innovation, and sits at the heart of creation in science, engineering, and technology. The University of Waterloo brings that power to Toronto’s MaRS Discovery District through our office, UW@MaRS.
UW@MaRS facilitates the collaboration amongst mathematicians, statisticians, scientists, and engineers, to extend the frontiers of discovery where science, technology and mathematics meet, in research and education.
In addition, UW@MaRS provides consulting services in mathematical modeling, statistical analysis and computer simulation, for developing solutions for industry sectors including health care, medicine, finance, energy, and environment.
