Venture Group services are tailored to the unique circumstances of each client. Depending on your stage of business development and fit with Venture Group resources, the Venture Group team will assess and connect you with the most appropriate resources to help you succeed.

Educational programs are accessible to all entrepreneurs.  For information, please consult the MaRS portal at www.marsdd.com

Advisory Services and Market Intelligence resources are managed through an application process:

Step 1: Submit the MaRS Venture Group Contact Form, available online by clicking here

Step 2:  The “Discovery Document”
  • If you meet the basic criteria for Venture Group assistance, we will send you a MaRS Discovery Document. The Discovery Document will ask you to highlight key points regarding your company and market, as well as your strategic needs. The information gathered in the document helps us focus on the most appropriate resource for your business.

Step 3: Assessment Meeting
  • Companies that seek coaching from MaRS Advisors and fit with the Advisor resource capabilities will be invited to an assessment meeting to review high-level business issues and provide strategic advice based on our understanding of your industry and business development needs.

Step 4: Client Engagement
  • Companies that fit with the Advisory Services profile may be selected to work with Advisors on a market intelligence and/or strategic planning project.
  • Client engagements are limited in time and scope to ensure we are able to provide best-in-class value to a variety of innovators and companies. In its first two years of operation, MaRS Venture Group has assessed more than 450 business cases and is currently working with more than 90 active clients.
