That’s where the Dragons come in. They have the expertise and the deep pockets to make those good ideas happen. To get the cash you need to know the rules of Dragons’ Den:

The Golden Rules

• Each Pitcher must ask for a specific amount of money for their idea or product.
• The pitcher must convince one or more Dragons to invest that specified amount, usually in return for a percentage of their company.
• The pitcher must get at least the amount of money they ask for -- or they get nothing.
• Each pitcher is free to bargain with the Dragons in order to get the specified level of funding.
• The pitcher cannot make use of video or PowerPoint presentations during their pitch; they must rely on visual props or models only.
