CREATIVE CITIES
MaRS is a urban organization. It sits in the heart of downtown Toronto, in an neighbourhood defined by the close proximity of universities, research institutes, restaurants, concert halls and the Ontario legislature. The MaRS mission is to connect disparate worlds, and to leverage the strengths that density and diversity bring.
As a result, we’re extremely interested in the future of cities – ours included. From best practices in technology-driven economic development, to the role of design and architecture in fostering collaboration, MaRS is determined to play a role in the conversations and partnerships shaping the future of Toronto and other great global cities.
