Additional media coverage was provided by the Business News Network (BNN), where the event moderator, Kim Parlee, is an anchor for the show After Hours. BNN aired a segment during Wednesday’s episode of the show highlighting the panel discussion, followed by an interview with panelist Michael Detlefsen, President of Global Ceres Ag Corporation.

Detlefsen provides insight into why food prices are rising in terms of supply and demand factors. He also discusses agri-food investment, innovation and public policy in Canada and on a global level.

Click on the link to watch the July 23rd episode of After Hours, and cue it up to the 39th minute to see the interview.
