Yesterday, social entrepreneurs flocked to the MaRS auditorium for the Social Entrepreneurship Summit. The speaker list was stacked: from local Geoff Cape, last year’s Social Entrepreneur of the Year, to Nick Temple of the School for Social Entrepreneurs in the UK and Tazmin Ractliffe, founder of the South African Social Investment Exchange.

Couldn’t make it?

You can still stay connected with the everyone from Social Entrepreneurship Summit by using the social web!

Here’s how:

  • Twitter: Check out the SES08 microblog feed for the live blogs and all other conference microblog tweets can be found tagged with “ses08″
  • Flickr: Check out the SES08 Group photos. Add your own conference photos to the group and tag with “ses08″ will be added to the group.
  • LinkedIn: Join the Social Entrepreneurship Summit 2008 group and connect to other participants and start discussions
  • Vimeo: Conference videos are being posted in the SES Group. If you have your own videos, upload them and tag them with “ses08″.
  • Slideshare: Join the SES event and you’ll find all the conference presentations. If you have a presentation to share, tag it with “ses08″ and share it with the group.

Find it all online, aggregated for your enjoyment at Stay Connected:

Today, the momentum continues with the Social Finance Forum. Stay connected with the forum, especially if you aren’t able to attend at :

Discussion

  • What did you think of the Summit and the Forum? Evaluations will be sent via survey monkey next week but if you have any thoughts in the interim we want to hear them?
