Joe Rotman, business leader role model

Aspiring business leaders need role models. And now they have one in MaRS board member and founder, Joseph Rotman, recently announced as an inductee into the Order of the Business Hall of Fame.

Mr Rotman was among six prominent business leadersĀ  recognized for their business excellence and honoured for their outstanding business achievements and enduring contributions to Canadian society.

Chairman of Roy-L Capital Corporation and namesake of the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management, Joseph Rotman was one of the founders of MaRS. His vision?

“Innovation, competitiveness and prosperity will rise out of a fertile environment that nurture relationships between disciplines that will create and develop valuable intellectual property.”

The new Hall of Fame Companions will each be formally inducted into The Order of the Business Hall of Fame at the 2009 Gala Dinner and Induction Ceremony in Toronto on May 5th at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
