Planning a vacation this winter? Why not consider a visit to one of the 12 “Tech Meccas” listed in an August 2009 InfoWorld article.
Included on the list of “holy grail” sites is the shed where Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard developed their first product, the Model 200A audio oscillator, in 1938 and the Stanford dorm room which houses Google’s first server farm. The list is very US-centric, making one wonder – are there any “tech meccas” in Canada that belong on a list like this?
