Position Overview:

Reinventing the sales process; in being transparent, efficient and most importantly creative in acquiring business is a critical element to Hubba’s success. Forget about ancient gimmicks, 200 line item quotes, and convoluted negotiations – we’ll leave that to the traditional players. It’s not our game.

Responsibilities:

The Hubba sales team is growing rapidly and we’re looking for professionals with the passion, vision and drive to propel our company to new heights. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Finding creative ways to fuel the sales pipeline, generating new business opportunities and setting meetings through outbound prospecting/cold-calling.
  • Becoming a brand management guru and thought leader.  You’ll work together with the Hubba team, our customers and partners to understand what really matters to brands and retailers.
  • Presenting the benefits of the Hubba platform to both executive decision makers and the end-users working in the trenches who use the product daily.
  • Creating compelling, customized demo and seed configurations within the Hubba platform for potential customers.
  • Maintaining an accurate, transparent sales funnel within salesforce.com.

Qualifications:

  • You have 1-3 years of corporate experience.
  • You have a university degree, preferably in a technical or business field.
  • You’re a creative risk-taker. Unafraid of hearing a few (or many!) no’s, what really matters to you is finding the yesses and figuring out how to replicate success.
  • You’re a quick learner. You’re flexible, open to trying new things, and can turn on a dime.
  • Your work-ethic is second-to-none and you’re driven by results. Whether that means making 100 phone calls a day or becoming a social media expert – you don’t stop until your targets are in the rear-view mirror.
  • You have an acute interest in new technologies and can establish credibility around your industry and technical knowledge with prospects.
  • You’re flexible, a team player and are eager to pitch in wherever you can.
