About the speaker

Justin Canivet

CFA

Justin Canivet is head of listings business development for the life sciences and diversified industries sectors with Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV). He is responsible for leading global efforts to raise awareness of the two exchange platforms and to attract new listings in life sciences and the broader industrial sectors, including agriculture, consumer and industrial products and services, financial services, real estate, communications and media, utilities and pipelines, and forest products. Prior to his role in business development with TSX and TSXV, Justin was a member of the corporate strategy and corporate development team with TSX parent TMX Group. He also spent several years working on both the buy-side and sell-side in a research capacity. Justin holds an honours undergraduate degree in economics from Wilfrid Laurier University and was awarded the CFA charter in 2000.
