MaRS Future Leaders is a unique immersive and experiential program for 13- to 18-year-olds who are interested in both learning about entrepreneurship and gaining hands-on experience. The program is designed to demonstrate that entrepreneurship is a fun, valid and viable career path.
MaRS Future Leaders engages youth in three main ways:
1. Boot camps
This week-long program enables high school students to invent, test and pitch an original business idea, supported by one-on-one mentors, successful entrepreneurs and dynamic teachers. Students learn skills critical for future success while in a cohort of peers their own age.
Held regularly, Meet-ups bring together youth who are interested in entrepreneurship to network, share ideas and hear from seasoned entrepreneurs.
3. MaRS Discovery District tours
Held on the last Friday morning of every month, tours of the MaRS facility help inspire high school students interested in entrepreneurship. Students can learn more about the MaRS Centre, MaRS services and the success stories of our entrepreneurs. The tour includes a presentation on entrepreneurship as a career. Schools are encouraged to contact us at email@example.com or at 416.673.8109 for more information.
