From the vantage point of his roles as an Officer of AT&T to COO of Lucent’s Business Communications Systems division, Dan has been at the center of some of the most exciting developments in the global telecom market. In his most recent role as CEO of Telecordia (the former BellCore organization), Dan led a global operation of 3000 employees. World renowned for its operations and network systems designed for business and governments around the world, the Telecordia organization has achieved an impressive record of applied research, with more than 800 patents to its credit. The company won the Frost & Sullivan European Company of the Year award in 2006.
In this session, Dan will speak to key trends in everything from IP-based networks to Wireless and Web 2.0 – how these developments creating market players and new value chains.
