Kerri currently operates a consulting business which provides business and financial planning, fund raising, executive team mentoring and merger and acquisition (M&A) advisory services. Her consulting activities have included a project for a large institutional investor, serving as mentor and part-time Chief Financial Officer to Infobright Inc., during its start-up phase through successful raise of growth venture capital, working with MaRS Social Entrepreneurship team and the Ontario government to develop a business plan for a Social Venture Capital Fund. In 2008, she helped found and raise seed venture capital financing for SeaWell Networks Inc., where she currently serves as part-time CFO and Corporate Development.

Kerri has over 25 years of general management and finance experience in a variety of technology industries and she’s been active in securing financings of over $1 billion in equity and debt and in negotiations of a number of merger and acquisition transactions. Until early 2008, Kerri was a Managing Partner at Primaxis Technology Ventures Inc., an early-stage venture fund with a portfolio of investments in the communications, IT, semiconductor and electronics fields. She was a pioneer in the wireless communications business, holding finance positions with Rogers Wireless at launch of commercial service in 1985 and serving in a number of roles with Bell Mobility, including Chief Executive Officer of Bell Mobility Paging and Vice President, Finance for Bell Mobility (formerly BCE Mobile Communications) as well as other positions in Finance and Information Systems. Kerri’s other executive roles included: Chief Financial Officer for Alliance Atlantis Communications (entertainment and media – public company) and Lorus Therapeutics (early-stage biotechnology - public).

Kerri has served as a director, officer and/or observer in each of the following early-stage technology companies backed by Primaxis: Chantry Networks (company sold to Siemens in 2005), Avendo Wireless (company sold to WaveRider Communications in 2003), Atsana Semiconductor (sold to Mtekvision in 2005), Elumina Lighting Technologies Inc. (company sold to American Tack and Hardware in 2005), Spotwave Wireless Inc. (sold to Kavveri Telecom Products in 2008), Meriton Networks (sold to Xtera Communications in 2008) and Natural Convergence Inc. (still private).
 
Kerri obtained her Chartered Accountant designation while with KPMG and holds an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
