This is part of a series of “Meet the Entrepreneurs” events which present panels of start-up entrepreneurs in different sectors discussing the challenges and opportunities they are facing. Followed by a networking reception.

Leveraging a breakthrough genetic test and an online assessment tool, the company offers a mobile platform that delivers customized health solutions.

Jessica Ching, CEO & Co-Founder, Eve Medical
Eve Medical is an early-stage medical device company focused on designing innovative, user-centered medical products aimed at the specific healthcare needs of women. Their first product, HerSwab™, is a device that enables women to test themselves for sexually transmitted infections, providing convenient and affordable healthcare access to under-screened women.

Stephen Abrams, CEO & Founder, Quantum Dental Technologies
The Canary System™ by Quantum Dental Technologies provides early detection and monitoring of tooth decay. The device can detect decay on smooth enamel, root and biting surfaces, as well as between the teeth and around existing amalgam or composite fillings. Drawing on years of research, the system is pain-free, safe and non-invasive.

Veronika Litinski
Advisor, Life Sciences and Health Care
MaRS Discovery District
Veronika works with a portfolio of life science and health-care entrepreneurs at MaRS, with a particular focus on financing and corporate development. Veronika has had an interesting career—from a research scientist to corporate finance. She was also instrumental in the launch of Cogniciti, the brain fitness company created through a partnership between MaRS and Baycrest.
