PointerWare is currently targeting two primary markets: seniors living in continuing care residences (retirement homes, nursing homes, independent living), and seniors living at home. Secondary markets for this easy-to-use computer interface are users with physical and mental disabilities as well as users with low literacy.

PointerWare is facilitated by a technology sponsor (assisted living staff or family) that supporters the end user. PointerWare is subscription based software that provides email hosting, customization and technical support.
