David joined DRI Capital in October 2002, after serving as Vice President, Business Development with Paladin Labs Inc., where he successfully completed a series of licensing transactions. Prior to Paladin, David was an Investment Manager with Royal Bank Capital Corp., where he was responsible for venture capital investing and served as a director or ex-officio observer on the boards of a number of life sciences companies. David began his career as a process development engineer with Hemosol Inc., a Canadian biotechnology firm. He holds a Master's degree in chemical engineering from Queen's University and an MBA from the University of Toronto.
