Greg Hines brings over 25 years in leadership and commercialization expertise from the biotechnology sector. Currently, Greg is President and CEO of ArcticDX Inc., a molecular diagnostic company based at the MaRS Centre. Previously, Greg was President, CEO and Director of Tm Bioscience, a publicly traded company on the TSX, until the company was sold to Luminex Corporation in 2007. At Tm Bioscience, Greg led the design, development and commercialization of a molecular diagnostic platform complete with a menu of molecular tests in the fields of human genetics, pharmacogenetics and infectious disease. Prior to this Greg served as President and Founder of Leo Pharma Inc., a research-based pharmaceutical company, where he brought eight new medicines through clinical development (Phase II and III), regulatory approval and commercialization. He has also served on the Board of Directors of MEDEC and as Chairman of Rx&D. Greg currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Biotechnology Initiative (Toronto), Genesis Genomics Inc. (Thunder Bay, Ontario) and The Canadian Gene Cure Foundation (Vancouver).
