Communitech, WaterlooDan has over 22 years of experience in business development, marketing, sales, engineering, and operations in high-growth technology companies, creating over $1 billion in shareholder value. Dan was President and CEO of IceFyre Inc, a venture backed start-up company, where he led the company to develop several high performance, low power integrated circuits for 802.11 wireless applications. Prior to IceFyre, Dan was senior vice president and general manager, Semiconductor Division, at MOSAID Technologies Inc. where he led the successful development of the company's fabless semiconductor product business and its patent licensing business. Dan has also held a series of increasingly senior positions with Celestica Inc. and IBM Canada. Currently, Dan is the President & CEO of eSight Corporation, a medical devices start-up focused on developing low-vision aides that not only improve quality of life for those with vision impairments but also enhance visual experiences for those with normal vision. Dan holds an MBA from York University in Toronto and a BEE from McMaster University, Hamilton.
