Auditorium

Auditorium

Located on the lower concourse, the auditorium is a single-level, multi-purpose room with approximately 4,600 square feet of usable space and a maximum seating capacity of 380 people.

Partitions allow the room to be divided into three (designated as Auditoriums A, B and C) for increased flexibility. With portable risers that can be used as a stage or presentation platform, the Auditoirum can be configured for theatre-style seating and for a variety of events such as dining, training and trade shows. It also has multiple ceiling rigging points for easy mounting of stage lights and additional equipment.

The Auditorium offers an attractive modern feel accented with wood paneling for contrast and warmth.

MaRS FACTS

MaRS is not an acronym. It was originally a file name and the words "Medical and Related Sciences" were later attributed to it. Since we promote the convergence of a full range of science and technology disciplines, we've dropped ”Medical and Related Sciences” from our name and we’re back to just “MaRS”.
