Premier’s Summit Award in Medical Research
Each year, a small group of Ontario’s outstanding medical researchers compete for one of Canada’s richest prizes ($5 million), the Premier’s Summit Award in Medical Research.
The result? A significant expansion of each award winner’s research program. And another way to recruit and retain the best and brightest medical researchers. All part of Ontario’s innovation strategy, with a focus on research excellence and commercialization.

Nomination deadline
All completed applications must be received in hard copy by 5pm on Friday, December 4, 2009. The applications should be submitted in the following format:
- Submit the original nomination package single-sided. The nomination package should not be bound or stapled.
- Submit two (2) additional hard copies of the completed nomination package single-sided.
- Provide two (2) complete electronic copies of the nomination package on two (2) separate CD-ROMs.
