Things are heating up for the Social Tech Training!
For those who have been waiting to see a complete agenda before registering, you won't need to wait much longer. We had a terrific meeting with our core faculty earlier this week, and the agenda is almost complete. A lot of work has gone into it, and we are excited about the near-final result. It's full and it's comprehensive, and if you've been looking for the "starter course" that will teach you everything you need to know to use the web effectively, then look no further.
Heading up the creation of our agenda is the wonderful Roz Lemieux, who hails from Washington DC and brings with her an impressive history of creating training programs through the
New Organizing Institute. Supporting her is a strong team of social change leaders with extensive experience with the web. The faculty-to-student ratio at this training will be really high – possibly as much as 3 to 1 – so each participant will get a lot of hands-on help creating their Web 2 plan.
We'll post again when the full agenda is up. In the meantime,
registrations are being accepted. Please don't wait too long to sign up, as space is limited.
