Jen Ziemke is the Co-founder of the International Network of Crisis Mappers, the largest and most active international community of experts, practitioners, policymakers, technologists, researchers, journalists, scholars, hackers and skilled volunteers engaged at the intersection between humanitarian crises, technology and crisis mapping. Crisis Mapping was first used most publicly and effectively following the earthquake in Haiti.

During this interview Jen discusses the evolution of Crisis Mapping, her own journey towards the intersection of technology and social change, and the huge potential that technology has in supporting people at the most dire times in their lives.
