Matter and Form makes 3D technology for the education and hobbyist markets. Founded in 2013, we design and produce the world’s leading consumer-friendly professional-quality 3D scanner.

Role and Project Description:

We are developing “instructable” projects for middle and high school students which use 3D scanning, 3D modelling and 3D printing skills to create products including custom Lego bricks, prosthetics, and custom handlebar grips. We are seeking a smart, enthusiastic and creative student to develop, create and document these projects, identifying the challenges and solutions for each, so that the project could be successfully executed by a middle or high school student.

Minimum Qualifications:

Generally conversant with 3D technologies, including 3D modelling and design, 3D scanning and 3D printing. Ability to write well and tell a clear story is essential.

Area and Level of Study:

College, Undergraduate studies in design and media, or additive manufacturing.
