At Trainer Plus, we make a web and mobile platform the creates content and support ecosystems for trainers and gyms. This platform helps scale fitness support and personal training, helping the fitness industry offer new online services and be more accessible and affordable to more people. This is the first step in not only evolving their business online, but accessing new markets in corporate wellness and healthcare.
With fitness as the top form of prevention, there is still a disconnect between the fitness and healthcare industries. We are on a mission to help bridge the gap between fitness and healthcare, by using our technology to scale content from experts and reinforce a best practice, evidence based approach to fitness. We are looking for someone to help us improve our fitness database and support customers with fitness programming. We need a team member who can help us curate exercise and workout content in our growing database, both editing existing content and helping to create new content. This is also an opportunity to work with training clients online. This is a great opportunity for anyone thinking about working in the fitness industry to both get practical experience with training clients and work with a leading edge technology that is changing how fitness support is delivered.
As the fitness content and support manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our fitness content is properly tagged and described, flagging exercises that need to be updated and organizing videoshoots for content that needs to be created. You will also be responsible for working with clients to help suggest workout programs, provide online oversight and potentially even train people in person.
- Be in a Kinesiology, Phys-Ed or equivalent program
- Working knowledge of exercise, being able to describe and tag
- Knowledge of fitness programming
- Personal training certification
- Solid communication skills
- Google business tools (Docs, Sheets, etc)
Nice to haves
- Experience working with personal training clients
- Experience doing fitness video/photoshoots or producing videos
