What Our I.T. Support Specialist Does:
As the first-line of support for all technical requests, the I.T. Support Specialist is actively engaged in helping our users find optimal solutions and proactively troubleshoot. Our I.T Support Specialist is also responsible for managing access to the platform, logging all user interactions following our standard procedures, analyzing and reporting on trends in platform usage, and developing training resources for users. Other responsibilities include providing operational support, attending team meetings, and ad hoc tasks that are within the scope of the position.
What You’ll Need for the Position: a relatively new, configurable laptop (Mac or PC) and a reliable internet connection.
Education Requirements: Bachelor-level degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or similarly suitable discipline.
Location: Toronto; currently home-based, with the flexibility to move to a permanent office space if needed.
Job type, Working Hours and Reporting Relationship: This is a full-time contract – length to be determined, with the possibility of extension. Working hours are normally 08:00-16:00, with some early morning meetings (07:00). The position reports to the Operations Manager.
Salary: Competitive and based on level of experience
