Think Research is changing the way healthcare is delivered – and not in the Buckley’s ‘tastes awful but it works’ kind of way. Working with approximately 1000 hospitals across Canada, the US and the EU, we help solve some of the largest challenges in our healthcare system. We create clinical software that aims to deliver evidence based practices and clinical support tools to front line clinicians.
You will be working as part of the Engineering department at Think Research responsible for working on all levels of the code base to build software that helps to improve the delivery of healthcare in Canada, USA, and EU. You will collaborate closely with our product design teams to define feature specifications and work with our operations and infrastructure team to build and scale back-end services.
At Think, we treat all of our co-op students as full-time employees. Our objective is to provide the most valuable co-op experience through learning and advancement to prepare all students for post-graduation into the work force. We provide the tools to fully integrate each student as part of the team, and expose each of our students to the same kinds of technical challenges our Senior Software Developers are solving on a daily basis.
We operate under a fast-paced agile environment and follow a scrum framework with two-week sprint cycles. Our pragmatic, friendly, and welcoming team makes coming to work feel like we’re conquering more than just milestones in our healthcare system, but building strong friendships at the same time.
We are seeking for 3 co-op students who take particular interest in test-driven application development and are passionate about developing meaningful software and producing exemplary code. Our ideal candidate is a collaborative team player who is always ready to tackle out of the box challenges and is excited when it comes to exploring new ways to improve their development skills.
Based on the team the student gets placed into (based on individual’s experience), this will determine the specific product and projects the individual will be working on.
