What is the Women in Cleantech Accelerator?
The RBC Women in Cleantech Accelerator is a two-year program that recruits 7-10 outstanding women entrepreneurs to advance their breakthrough ideas into market-ready cleantech products with the potential for global impact. The program is guided by principles of diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as a commitment to the planet.
What is the Women in Cleantech Accelerator?
Why does this matter?
Women are a powerful force in Canada’s innovation economy, but are significantly underrepresented in cleantech. Only one in 10 cleantech founders is a woman, and only 19 percent of Canadian cleantech companies have at least one female founder.
