Social Innovation Generation @ MaRS
MaRS is a partner in a national collaboration called Social Innovation Generation (SiG). SiG advances new approaches to addressing persistent social and environmental issues.
Other partners include Vancouver-based Planned Lifetime Advocacy Network, the J.W McConnell Family Foundation in Montreal and the University of Waterloo.
Funded by the Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation, SiG@MaRS has a specific focus on social entrepreneurship.
SiG@MaRS creates industry standards and regulation in Canada and offers practical support for social ventures.
