Helena is passionate about businesses that improve people’s lives through social and environmental impact. At MaRS, she supports the team in delivering Corporate Transformation projects and leads internal operations & communications initiatives within the team.

During her 6 years of experience in marketing and communications for the non-profit sector in Brazil, Helena focused on developing and supporting sustainable business models that could simultaneously have lasting external impact and be successful. While pursuing an MBA at McGill University, Helena was elected President of the McGill MBA Women’s Association, where she convened industry professionals, MBA candidates and professors in events that discussed gender and intersectionality issues as they relate to the business context.
