The Funding Portal: A new tool on MaRSDD to help you connect with more than $30 billion in funding sources

Today we are proud to introduce a new addition to the Entrepreneur’s Toolkit: The Funding Portal search tool, a time-saving resource for Canadian entrepreneurs that is updated 24-7, providing access to more than $30 billion in funding sources for your startup.
To offer this important resource to everyone in our community, we partnered with The Funding Portal, Canada’s national bilingual e-commerce platform and one-window gateway to all news, information and services related to innovation and business funding. Their sophisticated search tool offers unlimited database searching and browsing to make the entrepreneur’s hunt for funding a little smoother.
The Funding Portal search tool aims to give you the right information by first qualifying its searches based on your organization’s business objectives, history and activities, and then sending the results of your search directly to you by email.
By the numbers
- The Funding Portal can show you more than 7,000 funding sources, with more than 4,500 government sources in the form of grants, contributions and tax credits, and 2,500 private sources, including angel investors and venture capitalists, private equity and bank financing, and foundations and alternate financing.
