How Sampler is helping local businesses — and the community

Sampler, a startup that thoughtfully targets customers for big-name brands, is sending out 2,000 sewing kits for consumers to produce non-medical-grade masks for Toronto’s essential workers.

The move has the potential to bring 20,000 new masks to grocery store and shelter employees. An unnamed Canadian fabric company partnered on the initiative, as well as Procter & Gamble, which donated 1,000 laundry detergent pods so that sewers can clean their creations before donation.
