MaRS Cleantech Fund LP
MaRS Cleantech Fund LP is a new model of collaboration between MaRS and the private sector. The privately backed fund will focus on early-stage cleantech companies in the MaRS cleantech practice and is providing around $1 million as an initial investment, with possible follow-on funding.
The Energy Institute is bringing together government, cleantech leaders, regulators, utilities, the academic community and the private sector to expand Ontario’s role in the $38 trillion global energy industry.
