Evrard Muco

Evrard Muco is a Studio Y Fellow at MaRS and is currently completing his placement with the Capital Advisory team at the MaRS Centre for Impact Investing.
He is passionate about the potential of fast-growing early-stage companies to solve social and economic issues. In particular, he is exploring the impact of fintech on financial inclusion.
Evrard’s recent professional experience includes working as a management consultant at Accenture, where he advises enterprises on their digital strategy and transformation, and leads the firm’s work in the local Toronto fintech ecosystem. He has also been active in non-profit consulting work. Prior to his consulting experience, Evrard worked at The Global Fund, an organization designed to hasten the end of tuberculosis and AIDS, where he explored innovative financing solutions to increase domestic health investments in developing countries.
Evrard has a bachelor of commerce in finance and economics from McGill University. He was born in Burundi and spent his early years living in various countries across three continents. He currently calls Toronto home.
