Kathleen Kauth

Kathleen Kauth is the Director of Partnerships for the Advanced Energy Centre at MaRS. She works with energy industry stakeholders to cooperatively facilitate the adoption of innovation in the energy system. Kathleen discovered cleantech while taking classes in Berkeley, California, and has been passionate about the sector ever since.
Prior to joining the Advanced Energy Centre, Kathleen worked at Blackstone Energy Solutions in Toronto. Kathleen’s roles included business development, financial modelling and project management. Kathleen graduated with a degree in biology from Brown University, which she followed up with a Master’s in Public Health. She has also passed all three levels of the CFA program and will be eligible for the CFA charter upon completion of the required work experience.
Kathleen is an Olympic bronze medalist, playing for Team USA in Torino 2006. She is also a World Championship gold and silver medalist with team USA. She is a co-founder and current board director of the Canadian women’s professional hockey league, the CWHL.
