Happy Birthday to the MaRS bees!

It was one year ago that we installed two beehives on the roof of the Evans Wing in the MaRS Centre. To celebrate this milestone, the Bee Committee held a waffle breakfast fundraiser so that MaRSians could come out and support the bees.

We had an impressive turnout and it was great to see so many colleagues interested in the bees. One thing that we learned is that waffle-making is a very messy job! Still, it was a lot of fun and we raised enough funds to pay for more equipment, as our hives are quickly filling up with honey.
