Two major tech conferences are taking over MaRS this month. First, the Venture Out Conference will bring together the LGBTQA2S+ tech community for two days of insightful talks and networking. Next up, the health community descends on Toronto for the seventh annual Health Innovation Week, connecting startups to investors and the broader health ecosystem.

1. Canada’s largest gathering of health startups, investors and the health ecosystem

At the end of the month, Health Innovation Week will take over MaRS and various locations around Toronto, bringing together the entire tech ecosystem to commercialize tech, improve patient outcomes, and empower the healthcare system. The conference offers attendees great opportunities to network, secure funding and learn from industry experts — plus, the chance to scout out the latest health products, services and solutions. 2. A conference for the LGBTQA2S+ tech community

Venture Out is an organization that connects its community to career opportunities and role models. Its annual conference, now in its fourth year, attracts influential speakers, promising startups and advocates who are working to build more inclusive workplaces. 3. Tips for entrepreneurs expanding into Australia

Are you looking to grow your business internationally? Get best practices from experts in this webinar hosted by MaRS and Export Development Canada. New and emerging solutions for tech startups entering the Australian market will be discussed, as well as the challenges of internationalization and opportunities in the market. 4. An economic update from the Bank of Canada governor

In celebration of International Women’s Day and to highlight the importance of tying diversity with innovation, Stephen S. Poloz, governor of the Bank of Canada, speaks at this event hosted by Women in Capital Markets and MaRS. March 5, Fairmont Royal York.
